Office/Customer
Service/Order Entry
We are looking for the right person to help our customers by
cheerfully answering the phone and helping them place orders through our
computer system. Helping to manage
orders through the shipping process and answering customer help questions along
the way. The ideal candidate will be
comfortable with using the Internet and be a good speller as well as an
accurate typist.
A friendly helpful attitude and sales oriented individual
with some basic experience with vegetable gardening is a plus. Position runs from Feb. 1st
through July with some part time work possible after that.
Greenhouse
workers--Packing and Shipping (several positions available)
These positions will spend time Mondays and Tues. wrapping
and packing plants, Weds. and Thurs. in the greenhouses transplanting plants,
and pulling orders on Fridays. Attention
to detail is most important as well as a great attitude and good work
ethic. We have fun even though we work
hard and lunch is provided daily. Some
positions will be full time, 5 days per week and others will be part time, 2-3
days per week, during our season of Feb. 1st-July 15th. Working hours are generally 9-4pm with
packing days sometimes extending to 5:30-6pm.
Hours can be flexible for part time employees although Mondays and
Tuesdays are full 8-hour days.
Shipping
operator
This position will be the primary computer operator in charge
of generating shipping labels and packing slips for boxes shipped on Mondays
and Tuesdays from March 1st-July 15th. This person must be fast and proficient with
computers, especially the internet, as well as being very detail oriented and
able to lift boxes up to 25 lbs. Office
and Greenhouse work is available to make this position full time 5 days a
week.
General
Greenhouse/Packing Helper
This position is a general labor person and calls for a hard
worker that can lift 50 lbs, help unload trucks, run equipment such as soil
mixers, rotary tiller and weed eater.
This person also will help with transplanting, moving plants and keeping
things organized and clean in the greenhouses as well as helping with wrapping
plants and packing. Hours are full time
from January 15th-July 30th with additional part time
work through the summer and into fall.
Lunch is provided daily.
