These tomatoes for cooking are perfect for pasta sauce, salsa, marinara, pizza sauce, and soups! These are the meaty, low seed tomatoes, best for cooking because their flavor is intensified when the moisture is cooked away. Most can be eaten as fresh sliced tomatoes but they really shine as the workhorses of the garden producing loads of fruit to save for the winter! These tomatoes for canning are certified organically grown as single plants in 4.5″ pots.

Indeterminate plants produce abundant crop of 2" elongated plum-shaped fruits. Black Plum has a beautiful mahogany skin with dusky-green shoulders and dark purple-red flesh. Flavor is unique, sweet, tangy, size is very similar to Juliet. Great for fresh eating, perfect for salad, amazing when sliced in half and roasted with garlic, salt and pepper. This is a tomato we grew for many years and are happy to have them back!
Oxheart tomatoes have been grown in this country for many years but are relatively unknown. Their deep pink heart-shaped fruits have a sweet, rich, complex flavor and are very meaty while still being juicy.
The San Marzano tomato has a high sugar content and is very high in pectin, giving sauces and pastes a natural creamy thickness. The tall, mostly determinate plants are quite disease resistant and load up with fruit for canning.

These plants are quite compact, reaching thirty-six to forty-eight inches tall, and are very productive. The elongated, Roma-type tomatoes are a beautiful scarlet color with distinct jagged golden stripes and are between three to six ounces in weight.
